What we collect

  • Contact details you submit (name, email, message, lesson interest, markets followed)
  • Booking and payment references needed to confirm seats and deposits
  • Technical logs such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited when analytics cookies are accepted
  • Correspondence you send to our studio email or phone

We do not ask for government ID numbers, full card details through this website, or sensitive health data.

Purposes

We use personal data to respond to enquiries, administer lessons, send scheduling updates, improve the site (where analytics are allowed), and meet legal record-keeping duties.

Depending on context we rely on: steps prior to a contract (booking), performance of a contract (delivering a paid lesson), legitimate interests in operating a training studio, consent for non-essential cookies, and legal obligation where records must be kept.

Retention

Enquiry messages without a booking are typically retained up to 18 months. Booking and payment records are retained for up to seven years for accounting and dispute resolution. Analytics data follows the cookie durations listed on our cookies page.

Sharing

We use service providers for email, hosting, and (where enabled) analytics. They process data on our instructions. We do not sell personal information. We may disclose data if required by law or to protect rights and safety.

International transfers

Our studio operates from Seoul. Hosting or email providers may process data in other countries, including the United Kingdom and European Economic Area. Where transfers occur, we seek appropriate safeguards such as contractual clauses offered by those providers.

Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or portability of your personal data, and object to certain processing. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it. You may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority in your jurisdiction.

Children

Lessons and this site are directed at adults. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16.
